CONNECT CALENDAR ARISE KIDS ARISE YOUTH DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS ARISE STUDENT MINISTRIES Helping teens become disciples of Jesus! We believe that teens are not the future of the church – they are the church! Arise Student Ministry is a program for teenagers grades 7th - 12th on Sundays and Wednesdays. Your teens will grow in their relationship with God in a fun and supportive environment where they will be challenged to live out their Great Commission responsibility! Besides our regular Sunday and Wednesday events, our teens enjoy regular camps, service opportunities, trips, and many other fun activities. SUNDAYS Discipleship Our teens meet together on Sunday evenings during the school year for small group Bible studies. During the summer months they participate in various topical studies. They get to learn how to study God’s Word and make application in their own lives. This time of spiritual enrichment is invaluable for every one of your young people. CONNECT CALENDAR ARISE KIDS ARISE YOUTH DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS Connect in the Word and with others Beginning February 1 through May 17, we will begin a new series titled Tested and True: Walking with God in the life of Joseph. Joseph’s story in the Bible is one of the most remarkable examples of God’s providence, faithfulness, and grace. Though he faced jealousy, betrayal, false accusations, and years of hardship, God was working behind the scenes to shape his character and position him for a greater purpose. From the dreams of his youth to the powerful role he later held in Egypt, Joseph’s life reminds us that God can take what others mean for evil and use it for good. His journey encourages believers of all ages to trust God even when the path is difficult or unclear. Men's and women's groups will be available for upper elementary, teens, young adults, and adults in sizes small enough to encourage study and discussion. NEXT STEPS STEP ONE STEP TWO STEP THREE STEP FOUR CHOOSE JESUS It All Begins Here! Have you ever wrestled with this question: "WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH JESUS?" The Bible tells us in John 14:6, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." What is the big deal about Jesus? Why is He important? What does He offer to you? It is our prayer that those questions and more be answered. Jesus is God, and He Loves You. Jesus said He was God. He proved it by His life, HIs words, His actions, and His love. Ephesians 2:4-5, "But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)" John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Jesus died and rose again for you. Our sin separates us from God and requires the payment of death (Romans 3:23, 6:23). Yet, because Jesus died for you, you don't have to pay for your own sins! 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, "Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day..." Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Jesus desires to give you eternal life. Here's how Jesus said it: John 3:36, "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life..." John 11:25, "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live." Going to Heaven isn't about being good or religious. It's about trusting Jesus Christ alone. Jesus is ready and wants to save you! Call on Jesus today to save you. Confess your sins to Him and trust in Jesus alone for salvation. Your good behavior, financial gifts, and church attendance cannot save you. If you will call on Jesus and trust in Him, He will save you now. Romans 10:9-10, 13, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation...For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Ready to Move Forward? Your child will love learning about God in a fun, safe environment where they can learn, create, and play along with their peers and our fantastic teaching staff. Arise Kids Nursery AGES 6 WEEKS THROUGH 3 YEARS Our well-trained childcare volunteers are here to provide your little ones with a spiritually nurturing, safe, and fun environment while you worship. The nursery is available for newborns through age 3 at all of our regularly scheduled services. Because we understand that caring for children is a trust, every nursery volunteer is required to complete a thorough background check and additional child safety training. Nursery Coordinator: Rose Heine Arise Kids K4 - 6TH GRADE Children are not the future of the church...they are the church! Our goal is to help each child grow in their own personal walk with Jesus and become disciple-makers. During our services, your children will learn the Bible and how to apply it to their own lives. They will grow in a fun, secure environment that they will love. Because working with children is a trust, we have taken special care to create a ministry environment that is both safe and enjoyable. Every Arise Kids volunteer is required to pass a thorough background check and child safety training course. We can't wait to have your child join us! Each Sunday morning, Arise Kids are dismissed from the 10:00 AM service following the preliminaries and remain in class until the adult service concludes. On Sunday evenings, children go directly to class at the 5:00 PM start time, and class ends at 6:30 PM. Children's Ministry Coordinator: Stephanie deBlanc 3 Years - 6th Grade AWANA Cubbies (ages 3-5) & Kids4Truth Clubs (grades 1-6) are children’s discipleship and Scripture memory programs where kids can learn the foundational Bible doctrines and be taught to apply these truths from God's Word to their daily lives all while earning badges and awards! Ultimately, AWANA & Kids4Truth seek to help children become confident and articulate about their knowledge of the Bible! This program runs from September through May on Wednesday evenings.
