The church is a place for healing, encouragement, and learning. The church is also a catalyst for people to spread the love and hope of Jesus. In order to fulfill that mission, we must develop a healthy, vibrant relationship with Jesus and with others. Here are some ways we can grow in our faith. Continue Continue Attend Church Weekly Make sure you get in the habit of attending weekly services! The Bible tells us in Hebrews 10:25, " Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching ." Join us weekly at Arise for our service on Sunday mornings @ 10 AM. Also, Arise is a praying church and we gather as a congregation every Wednesday night at 7:00pm for prayer and Bible study. During this service, we pray for God's guidance for our church as well as the needs of our church, the community, nation, and the world! PLAN YOUR VISIT Continue Daily Read Your Bible The Bible is God’s "user manual" for life. Just as we need to continually breathe oxygen to survive, we need to regularly study the Bible to grow and thrive spiritually. Your New Believer's Bible contains helpful information on how to begin and continue healthy Bible study habits. If you need more assistance, visit the Connect Center and one of our hosts will gladly give you more information to get you started! Continue Talk to God Often Prayer is how we communicate with God. All good relationships need good communication. Your relationship with God is no exception. Even Jesus himself took time to pray to God for guidance and direction. If Jesus felt the need to pray, how much more do we need to do it? Prayer may seem intimidating but it doesn't have to be. Read Luke 11:1-13 to learn how the disciples sought Jesus' direction on how to pray and Jesus gave them the perfect model to follow. We know that getting acquainted with a new church can be exciting but also a little bit intimidating. This STARTING POINT class will introduce you to our Arise family as well as the vision and purpose of our ministry. Led by Pastor Will, the classes meet four weeks in a row prior to the Sunday morning worship service and provide you with the opportunity to ask questions and learn how you can serve the Lord here at Arise through an introduction to the various ministries of the church. GIVE ONLINE GIVING GIVE NOW Generosity glorifies God The Bible teaches that giving is a part of growing in our faith. It is a response to God’s good gifts to us, and it is an act of worship toward Him. If you are visiting our website, but Arise is not your church family, we do not expect you to give. There is no obligation to give at any of our worship services. However, if Arise is your church home, or if the Lord has touched your heart about supporting His work here at Arise, we hope this tool will help you to abound in the grace of giving. CONNECT CALENDAR ARISE KIDS ARISE YOUTH DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS ARISE STUDENT MINISTRIES Helping teens become disciples of Jesus! We believe that teens are not the future of the church – they are the church! Arise Student Ministry is a program for teenagers grades 7th - 12th on Sundays and Wednesdays. Your teens will grow in their relationship with God in a fun and supportive environment where they will be challenged to live out their Great Commission responsibility! Besides our regular Sunday and Wednesday events, our teens enjoy regular camps, service opportunities, trips, and many other fun activities. SUNDAYS Discipleship Our teens meet together on Sunday evenings during the school year for small group Bible studies. During the summer months they participate in various topical studies. They get to learn how to study God’s Word and make application in their own lives. This time of spiritual enrichment is invaluable for every one of your young people. Luis and Natalia Rodriguez lead our teens each week in this time of teaching and encouragement.
